  • Thur 3rd The Sage Gateshead – Hall 2 – Steel Skies in Concert – first live performance for over 20 years with exciting new band – Emily and Sophy Ball fiddles, Lillias Kinsman Blake flute, Andy Watt mandolin and Alistair Anderson concertina and Nortumbrian pipes.

  • 1st to 26th South Africa – a tour organised by the “Swallows” project with concert performances, some work with students of traditional music and a collaboration with leading South African performers , Including performances at The International Library of African Music, The Miriam Makeba Centre, Fort Hare University and The Red Location Auditorium.
